Thank you for your correspondence to the Nelson Mandela Foundation.
Mr Mandela will unfortunately not be in a position to honour your invitation by making his presence but he asked us to pass his best wishes. As you know, Mr Mandela announced his retirement from public life in June 2004 and it is only by exception that he attends public events only if directly related to the work of one of his charitable organizations. Mr Mandela now spends most of his time enjoying a well deserved retirement.
Please accept our best wishes to You and Mr Amarjit and team.
